Meh. I've had better - I realize this is just a coney but come on. Food was cold our waitress indifferent and slow to drop off the check. One positive note the restaurant was clean. Which is nice to be able to say for a diner. But don't expect hot food or friendly wait staff.

As for Coney Islands, this one is pretty good. They can handle a busy crowd, and they don't mess up your order. This is a local favorite. The service was great. I will for sure be back to this location as often as I can.

Even in the middle of the afternoon they are busy. I like their Michigan Salad and this location serves the larger salad in a larger bowl :)

Solid breakfast place, nothing fancy. Wait staff is always upbeat and the diet coke is ways perfect. Which is important to non-coffee drinkers. Staff is always in a good mood and very timely. The ham and cheese omelette is well done and the rye toast is good as well. Very basic and satisfying. Have read some of the other reviews about this place. Couldn't disagree more. Staff is always great. And if you order the veggie burger and a salad at a Coney Island, then don't be surprised at your meal. Stick with eggs, a burger, a blt perhaps and you'll always be satisfied.

Great food, friendly staff and always clean. Mr. Ayoub cares about the community he is in and had a big benefit for a local family. Thank you Mr. Ayoub and staff!!! Class act!

Place isn't good but you get what you pay for. It's kind of like a worse version of Denny's if that's possible. It was interesting - they had a veggie burger wrap on their "specials" board, so I said what the heck and ordered it... I knew I made a mistake when I could hear the waitress having to tell the cook that it was indeed a special. I'm pretty sure the cook had no idea lol. Well, what can you do - I'm not thinking most people order that here and it wasn't good. I also got a side salad with no dressing. The waitress couldn't get over the fact that I don't eat dressing. She seemed... stunned. Well once I told her "I'm weird", that seemed to help but then the salad I received was a disappointment. About 95% iceberg lettuce which I guess is a diner standard. My grandfather had fish and chips and they seemed fairly standard. Heavy on the batter. At least he gets a senior discount. They must have some employment feeder program with the local high school because that's how I felt in this place. I heard more gossip in the 45 mins I was there than I have in the past 45 months. Well, glad those days are over.

This is my 4 year old's favorite restaurant aside from Big Boy. We eat here almost once a week. The waitstaff is friendly, you never wait long for your food and everything tastes good. The only thing that I have had that is consistently sub-par is the soup, blech! Its my favorite place to have brinner (breakfast for dinner)! I also agree with the previous reviewer that I have never seen items blacked out with Sharpie marker and I have patronized this restaurant for the past 5 years. Their menu is very nicely laid out. Following the law here in Michigan, the whole place is non-smoking which is nice because that was my biggest complaint about this place before.

We've been here several times over the past year. It's a fairly consistent experience of mediocrity. They usually have an abundance of staff, however the service is usually hit or miss (somehow). The food is average, the prices are average for a coney island style diner, and the experience is that of a greasy spoon. There are way too many options on the menus, and many of those options are blacked out with sharpie now rather than them actually updating the menu. The gyro is some beef/mystery meat blend and not at all lamb. The fries are usually decent, and they usually give you an entire plate of them (holy crap!) with your order. To give you an idea of the prices: with two people in our party, our usual bill (regardless of lunch or dinner service) is around $16 before tip. This place is appropriate when you are too lazy to cook or don't have time to go elsewhere. Another complaint is the lack of separation between the smoking and non-smoking section. Half the time there are people smoking in non-smoking, and no one says anything. Basically there is no non-smoking, no matter where you sit you smell the smoke. 3 stars.

Waitress was not overly friendly. When I ordered Biscuits & Gravy and the menu states 'All items come with choice of toast' she came back and said that that only applies to the egg dishes. But your menu says... The owner said it only applies to the egg dishes, do you want me to talk to Sam? Yes, please, the menu says... I did end up with the toast and the food was mostly decent, but when the bill came, they charged us for the toast! Ridiculous! After the debate over the menu, the unenthusiastic customer service, and being charged for their menu mistake...we definitely won't be back. Then group of waitresses huddled near the kitchen made me a bit nervous of the contents of my food. :(

Solid spot for a quality meal at a very reasonable price and good service. We have been here 3 times now and haven't had anything we didn't like. Best Coney I have found in the area and we will be back...regularly!!!

This place is horrible. I ordered an cheeseburger and fries. How hard is it to make that. The burger was burned horribly. The service was slow and they overcharged by $2. I will never go back to this establishment.

I dined at Leo's today in New Hudson with my 2 girls. I use to work at a Leo's when I was working my way through college but today I was very disappointed. The menus looked and felt like they have never been wiped down, same with the ketchup bottle and the booster my daughter sat in. The bathrooms were disgusting and to top it off, my Chicken Finger Pita was horrible. It was served with brown, wilted lettuce and chicken tasted horrible. I will not be back.

This is a good place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are many menu choices and I have yet to see any item on the menu "blacked out" as a previous reviewer said. There is also a white board with daily specials. Wait staff is generally friendly and I have always had good service. The food comes quickly and is good. The 'Opa" cheese, the sweet potato fries, fried cauliflower and potato pancakes are some of my favorites. The ONLY complaint I have ever heard ( and have experienced ) is that one wait staff member wears a musk perfume that is strong enough to smell when you walk in the door, not entirely pleasant when you are eating.

We were our waitresses only table and she was horrible. Even after my daughter joked in front of her about my writing a review for yelp. I was not impressed at all with the food. My daughter got wings (yes, a dumb move... But I have to choose my battles with her) after asking the waitress if the BBQ was spicy she replied, "no, not at all" and they came out sprinkled with red pepper flakes. Hmmmm. Drinks were not refilled and we had to go up to get our check. They weren't busy at all, we were probably 1 of 5 tables in the place occupied. I have to say that after my 24 hours of intestinal distress post Leo's, I won't be going back unless I want to lose a few more pounds in an uncomfortable manner.

Very good for a Coney Island. Greek salad was very fresh and crisp. Carry out was quick and warm and tasty.
